I am confused after a short google search. We call a very hard dried and salted cheese nor which we grate on pasta. Now I am thinking maybe it is only us ?

Anari comes in two forms. The hard mature one you describe and the very soft fresh one that's in the imagine above inside the pastries (borek, πουρέκκι).

Yes,Nor is what people in Turkey call lor. In Cyprus it comes in two forms :Fresh and soft and unsalted; and dried and hard and salted..And I am sure it is the same thing as anori!
