Hope you're feeling better and next time I mess up you're inspiring me to post. Hopeful there is no next time but mistakes happen!

I did get into bed and curl up immediately afterwards
I'm feeling better but not *better*. The pain is at manageable levels. This is the first time I've failed low FODMAP, and it was a shock to remember how bad I used to feel every day pre-diet!

I take a week to recover when I accidentally eat onions. Take it easy!

I have no idea how long it will take to get back to normal as this is the first time I've failed. The pain was unrelenting pre-diet so I don't know what the recovery time is
hoping it's quick

Peppermint tea/pills, exercise, warm baths, and simethicone. That's what helps me. Takes me a week sadly.

There's plenty of tea here but a bath will need to wait until Thurs as I'm in a budget hotel! I'm definitely much skinnier and pain has reduced but it's still relatively constant. Baggy t-shirt day

I actually went through a period where I bought bigger clothes. Good job on feeling better so fast! You must have only eaten a little bit of fructan (I assume it's that given how much you are bloated)!

I've just lost about 10kg due to low FODMAP and never feeling like I have enough food, so most of my clothes are baggy now
I think I ate quite a bit but maybe my intolerance levels are a little lower than yours? Tbh I'm still figuring out which FODMAPs I have issues with1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -
I am incredibly sensitive to fructan, yeah. But it's also one of the least digestible/most common FODMAPs (onions, wheat, garlic) unlike say lactose which obviously some people can break down using enzymes their own body makes.

I do eat tons though because I don't eat out and use green onions (the bit of the onion that we can eat safely) — so I just eat as much as I feel like at home. When I travel it is harder but I started eating meat again so I can survive protein-wise.

Losing weight is bad, so be careful — and please feel free to ask me for recipes if you want! E.g, this is all low FODMAP:https://twitter.com/o_guest/status/1148536438901891072 …

Thanks Olivia! Yeah my doc is watching my weight and I need to be careful and learn to expand my meal options! Had no idea you were low FODMAP too so it would be great to swap ideas
