Sadly I'm not involved in this work, but gotta represent!

Is there is training to improve visualising/minimize aphantasia? Tangent, I am fairly certain I have some dyspraxia and I certainly improve with training and seem to learn (eventually!) motor programs just as well as others. Although motor programs are arguably worth learning.

Usually it doesn't bother me. I just accept the fact that I am not very visual person. I also don't dream visually. Funnily, I sometimes dream that I read continue reading a book that I was reading before but I'm not immersed in the story I literally dream reading.

That's funny. I've had dreams that are super boring like that I was typing or just went into a kitchen and drank milk. But of course they are visual, just really boring.

There are usually very confusing though because sometimes I don't know what I actually read and what was only in my dream.

I find it amusing you can read in your sleep. I have never managed to do that. When I have the rare lucid dream I try to open up books but the words don't really make sense visually, cannot be read.

When I was young and chatting on ICQ with friends, I had the same. Luckily there was a chat history so I could check what was actually part of our conversation.

I had never considered this in such a way. May well be the reason we usually do not remember dreams for long, to prevent distortion of reality.

Have you had that thing where you wake up angry with the person you dreamed was a douchebag to you?

Oh god yes and I was so angry that I was mean to this person the whole day until we talked about it.

Wow. For me it goes away within a few minutes of waking up.
