Apologies, I did not mean to give the impression I’m calling anybody a liar. I certainly don’t think
@o_guest is lying. I am expressing that this label excludes me from the diversity, equality, inclusion effort.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

What does excluding you mean in this context?

Thanks for asking for clarification. Appreciate that. In this context, it meant it can make it harder for me to point out the very same behaviour in non-bros.

But more generally, I have noticed some men who support diversity in principle, but not in action, can be deterred from advancing in their thought and actions by labels such as these.

I can sometimes feel myself retreating from these important discussions simply to avoid aggression. I have to remind myself that this is worth it. And I look at inspiration to stay strong. Like
@IrisVanRooij,@djnavarro,@o_guest,@Abebab, and so many more.4 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

I don't know you well — but IMHO a good ally as
@ContentLeftist says (sorry her account is locked but I need to give credit of course) is one who listens and does what is told when it comes to such things. So maybe it's good you are taking a step back and thinking. I don't know!2 replies 0 retweets 4 likes -

What aggression do you fear and from whom? Most minorities fear aggression not because of it in and of itself but because it manifests further and further and into worse and worse stuff. It's because of what verbal aggression means, it means a chance of physical aggression.

[TW: mention of rape threats.] The reason for example I got scared when somebody outside my house said they wanted to rape me is because those words usually mean something very specific and correlate with bad things happening.
