Thanks for asking for clarification. Appreciate that. In this context, it meant it can make it harder for me to point out the very same behaviour in non-bros.
-
But more generally, I have noticed some men who support diversity in principle, but not in action, can be deterred from advancing in their thought and actions by labels such as these.

I can sometimes feel myself retreating from these important discussions simply to avoid aggression. I have to remind myself that this is worth it. And I look at inspiration to stay strong. Like
@IrisVanRooij,@djnavarro,@o_guest,@Abebab, and so many more. -
Which discussions? Like you retreat from explaining sexism to men?

I don't know you well — but IMHO a good ally as
@ContentLeftist says (sorry her account is locked but I need to give credit of course) is one who listens and does what is told when it comes to such things. So maybe it's good you are taking a step back and thinking. I don't know! -
I would love to continue talking. I’m learning from this discussion. But right now, I want to join my kids outside on this beautiful day. Thank you for your time and effort!

Hey, don't worry Twitter is actually not like a phone call! Have a great day with your kids — fantastic weather in the UK and I hope it's super fun! I think you'll have a lot to come back to in this threads both from me and others. Talk soon, I'm sure!
