You need to buy a book of climbs, where the bolts are, what the grades are, for the area you will visit. But ideally you need a guide. Top roping might be the the hardest thing you do as a newbie.

I’m not exactly a newbie, I’ve been doing rock climbing and bouldering for years but I have been very on and off with it to be frank with you. But I would say the most consistent I was in rock climbing was definitely in 2014-2015 as I would regularly use the uni wall...
