I wasn't being literal, I usually just say it (and lose them forever), but yes, one can see how it is cause for discomfort.

I'm from the Middle East and have pale skin. They even do it to me. It's a deep dive into their BS.

But need to add, no point having pale skin privilege (and occasional access to actual white privilege) if I don't use it to call them racist. I will always do it, because they come down harder when you do it than when I do it every time anyway.
