UK people who love halloumi but eat it only in burgers... 1. We don't do that in Cyprus. Try in a pitta, then maybe you're being OK. I said maybe. 2. We also eat it as a dessert with watermelon. 3. Do not buy halloumi made from cow's milk or without mint on it. YIAX RE. OK?

Most Iranian (Persian) cheese is like feta so very different ... and usually in Persian cuisine there is many fresh or brined cheeses so like curd cheese or strained yoghurt labneh etc not that name of course

But I believe there is cheese similar to paneer which is made . Proper Halloumi is much better tho than any paneer
