Isn't there a fundamental difference between, e.g., "they are radical" VS "they are radicalised"?

I'm not so sure, but "right-radical" is the only one that concerns me

I probably should not try to talk about words and their meanings with Americans.

Wow, you're so edgy and intelligent. You know meanings of words? Actual words? You must be super cool and special too. Careful you don't cut yourself on all that edge.

Shes a scientist used to a specific way of wording things and she doesn't use American English. The only jerk here is you, thankfully im not really into the whole call out culture thing.

Just to be clear — maybe I am a jerk but I was laughing at myself and the fact that I have genuine issues understanding USAmericans and North Americans generally often.
But yeah, call out culture is toxic and confusing in this context.
