The gist of it for me was that, yeah the Reasons it is the way it is do not take into account that people, almost always, consume media w/out critical thinking. And like. Ppl who watch it w me laugh at the -phobic jokes. Even if they're "not -phobic". !!

There's a show in Cypriot Greek that talks about gaslighting, PTSD, toxic parents, etc., on mainstream TV. That's really big for Cyprus.

Oh what, that's cool!! Do a lot of ppl watch the channel/show if you know? The channels in the north are not v popular, especially below a certain age group

I think they do. I wish it had subtitles for you. This is their Facebook page. The topics are actually really good. I watch her YouTube channel where she puts all the episodes and the discussions are wholesome. https://www.facebook.com/TheklaMilameAnoixta/ …

Well, I'm working on my (v bad) Greek... Will definitely take a look once I'm a little better at it! Thank youuu -
I watch to help keep my vocabulary normal as well as make me happy that Cyprus isn't totally beyond repair... Because the progress I've seen from outside is real. The past decade Cyprus has genuinely evolved from like Pichu to Pikachu (at least). We're at a good Pokémon level.

:) That's super nice to hear, being inside of it, things can really seem to stay the same crappy level if not going backwards. Hey uhhhh let me know when you come back to Cyprus?

-
