I just saw somebody, a peer, put their h-index in their CV. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little bit disturbed — "are they actually OK?"-level disturbed. Wow...

is it possible their dept / tenure committee made them do it? I always hated putting acceptance rates and impact factors next to papers on my CV but my 3rd year review committee insisted

It's a public CV tho... they can chose what to put online, doesn't have to be that version if so. I kind of doubt it but you know be right.
