What’s your oddest experience of mansplaining? Mine is when a man I met at a party told me my description of my actual job was wrong, and proceeded to explain why.

I got told my name wasn’t my name when I introduced myself to a guy once, it was so so very confusing. Apparently my name couldn’t be my name as he’d decided so??

@o_guest has had men tell her the Greek version of her name is wrong, despite: a) being her actual original-language last name, because b) she is a Greek Cypriot. I _still_ cannot get over how dumb those men have been.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes
My name is so controversial in so many ways. It's been like this my whole life. Many people also insist it's Quest, for example.
