I recently got an email which said, below the signature line:
“This email does not need a reply.”
It was kinda radical - I don’t think I like it, but it was also a really nice way to end the “thank you for your email” niceties that I would probably have descended into

I don’t think it was below the automatic one - I think it was below their name. Something like: Best wishes, Kirstie This email does not need a reply <automated content here>

I heard of PI saying this (‘Don’t reply to email just to say Thank you’) to their team as part of “email etiquette training”. <3
