Genuine question I’ve thought a lot a/b.
Recently we organized an ECR symposium. Goal is to create opportunities 4 ECRs to hear from ECRs. But I recognize that many ECRs who’ve done #openscience have advisors that support the movement.
How do we reach out more to those who don’t?

That still requires initiative from students, & there are certain factors that play into why someone'd take the initiative & reach out. I think making resources avail, free & accessible is one way but then how do we reach more students in the periphery outside of the OS circle.

Do you mean how to reach the students or how to reach the PIs of these students? For the students, I would say if they aren't on Twitter then at social events and conferences. For the PIs, more tricky. Like you say perhaps it's not for students to teach them especially if they
