Boxing is also good for your core and legs. Am I selling it?

I did a kettlebell thing today and it was good for my core and legs. I like structure. I will do 1 thing first, then think about others. Hmm what about Krav Maga? Avenger training and all

I do bouldering at an indoor gym too which I enjoy more than the normal gym these days. I think because the bouldering puzzles require cognitive problem solving skills at well as style and strength. I also have fibromyalgia, which really doesn't help with motivating myself.

That’s cool. And indoor bouldering sounds a lot safer than the outdoor version! If I get a chance I might try wall climbing first though. One step at a time, perhaps? Despite my punches, I don’t think I have good upper body strength (punches kinda come from my legs).

Bouldering and generally all types of climbing ideally should make you use legs more than arms, but bros exist of course. There's a specific technique to allow one to use their core and legs. Otherwise you just tire and fail.

The goal is to keep your arms straight as much as possible to not tire out those muscles. And to rotate your hips to allow your core to do the heavy lifting.

Many, especially bros, prefer to do it in a way less efficient and less stylish way and thus use their upper body tons. But brains vs brawn is a cool thing when you see a tiny “weak” person do a ridiculously tough climb that a super bulky guy can't do.

I'm actually a 2nd generation climber, which I find hilarious. I'll find you some videos on this that I've used as it's very interesting — at least to me...
