Double blind peer review question. Where can one upload their code for the reviewers to see/run but in an anonymous way? Create a new "anon" @github account? I am sure I am not the first one to ask this. #AskingForAFriend @o_guest @Protohedgehog

Also you are welcome. I might be remembering wrongly, but I think it's like that. Should probably tag @OSFramework though to make sure.

It looks like the GH username from URL is removed with OSF anon view only links. Here is a (public) test project https://osf.io/39rwc/ and here is with anon VOL:https://osf.io/39rwc/?view_only=9a35169da8dd4ef89cf8cc3a8f60deea …
-
Here are help docs for anon VOLs http://help.osf.io/m/links_forks/l/524049-create-a-view-only-link-for-a-project … Perhaps (?) the anonymize box wasn't checked last time you used it? (or for all I know that behavior has recently been improved). But if it's not behaving as expected, let us know.

Great! So as long as the code or other files do not contain the names of the authors, it's essentially anonymised, correct?
-
I think the biggest risk here would be following the links to view the files on GH, which is not itself anonymyzed. But on OSF side there aren't any identifiers displayed.

I connect github to OSF, Copy the files over, then disconnect from Github to be sure.
