Double blind peer review question. Where can one upload their code for the reviewers to see/run but in an anonymous way? Create a new "anon" @github account? I am sure I am not the first one to ask this. #AskingForAFriend @o_guest @Protohedgehog

Can you upload to the journal?

Not sure. But apparently they would like to have the code open already but still be able to go through double blind peer review.

Ask the editor what they want you to do? It seems it's impossible to have the code open source (which presumably will have the authors names attached) with the review being double blind...

Good thinking. Will pass that suggestion. Let's see what happens.

TBH even if you create an anonymous repo (or email them anonymised code or whatever) the reviews could search the web/github for the code and find it using a snippet... so it's all relative.
