Oh, nice. That's a level of post-death (i..e, my own) I have not reached yet.

I love the idea that I would've compiled material on the Queen for when she dies for myself. I mean that'd be even more surreal than having that about myself. This conversation is taking all kinds of directions

Some people are fans! Also I have issues with taking things literally occasionally. Mild tangent, my partner is about to do the ceremony you did, and which I was lucky enough to avoid by being born more Britishly, and he's just hoping he doesn't have to do it for Charles.

It was actually a fun ceremony, a bit pointless but I tried not to feel too political about it. although I did wear an EU themed dress.

Brexit is making all my friends British. My best friend from high-school also is doing that ceremony soon too.

When you become a British citizen they make you chug ten pints of shit lager & puke in the gutter?

Something like that! I think it depends on the count(r)y. For me I just had to go into a highly militarised building and a dog had to smell me or something.

But seriously... Alsatian. See the dashed lines? It's in no-man's-land, controlled by the UN. Fun! Was scared as a kid when I got my passport renewed.pic.twitter.com/mz7nIsAfTE
