Oh, wait, no — just kidding, they left us a nice mess to clean to up that we added to.
It's almost like simple solutions to sociopolitical problems don't exist. Anyway, I'll get back to thinking about something less depressing than Brexit/colonialism's legacy in my homeland.
I don't think it's changed. My dad took me for a road trip to the TRNC even in the early 90s. We have UK passports, just to be clear. Things for RoC citizens have changed only AFAIK. I have no idea how you book the tour tho, sorry. Can find out for sure if you need it @m_wall!

[Also again to be clear, I am ethnically Greek Cypriot. I just got lucky with UK citizenship based on descent.]
-
I could be completely wrong though. I will ask around if you need me too and we can discover what can be done with respect to visiting the Green Line and/or walking along it. Walking along it is pretty much the same as going inside it, anyway.

Thanks, but no worries - I have local knowledge! My PhD student is Cypriot (and is the one getting married) and I think her family are already planning our itinerary...

Oooh, careful. You never know who has family in Cyprus who are TURBO right wing. I know I do. It's a very very right wing place and everybody gets an AK from the government. But yes! Nice!
-
Not exaggerating but... right wing for Cyprus = G/C who probably killed or helped kill T/Cs.
Because mainstream views is just hating/mistrusting them for anybody over 25-30. -
OK - important tip. Thanks.
