2 cont.) Seeing "rapey" used here made me feel seen because, even though I had no input as to whether Brad used that word at all, I consider the idea that we have to endure awful stuff without consent (where others would get the ability to consent) and learn to like it as rapey.

@djnavarro that this is a huge issue and I think there are many overlapping issues here. BUT I hope that people can be better, we need to be better. We can't have people in open science who behave this way. -
3 cont.) From what happened the other day to to what happens every time we/I/others bring up diversity and inclusivity... it seems that people prefer to jump to conclusions and sides than think deeply and slowly. I think we can do better on all fronts though.
