Looks like my bath is full. Need to relax and soak after today.pic.twitter.com/C8ZrI0J1hi

I've bathed in salt many times, but not dead sea salt (despite having been there. Long story).
-
To be honest, I've no idea what the difference is. I just bought whatever was in the supermarket.

-
There probably is no functional difference, just a price difference. Plain ol Epsom salts are good enough for me. I won't even pay for adding lavender.

-
I did buy the cheapest... Hahaha. But I get you. Lavender oil is a nice addition. I'll some separate!

-
Well then you win!
I agree, lavender oil would be a better choice. Usually I get my aroma therapy in the bath from scented candles. Let me know if the salt feels any different from Epsom salts! -
I cannot tell the difference! Have a cheap bag of that too!

-
Well, if I ever see it for cheaper. Or at all.
However, if I ever return to the Dead Sea (not likely, alas) I'm definitely going in! -
Floating is fun. I would love to go there!

Someone gave me this jar of pink "Himalayan" salt, which apparently I'm supposed to grind for table salt, but it's too pretty so I'm just leaving on the shelf. I suspect the environmental impact of mining & shipping half way around the world far outweighs the benefits (if any)pic.twitter.com/2gQfiZ8bCC

It's incredibly pretty. Is it even from the Himalayas? They can surely dye it too, right?

-
That's why I used the quotation marks.

I did not know this bit! "Himalayan salt is nutritionally similar to table salt,[11] though it lacks the beneficial iodine added to commercial iodised table salt."
-
There appear to be some uninformed consumers, prepared to pay extra for an inferior product, if the marketing is done right
-
The funniest thing I have seen relevant to this online... is somebody putting their pink salt lamp in the dishwasher.
