A guy has been kind of following kind of staring at me for a few hours as I have walked to a few places near my house. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. In fact last time right outside my house a guy told me he was going to rape me.

But after many repeated similar things, I just choose to change how I navigate the world, literally, to avoid well, creepy men. On some level it sucks, but on another, I do feel "privileged" I can see it.

When I was younger, I genuinely had no idea. And not being able to code creepiness, rapeyness, as what it is is a huge disadvantage. Huge. If you can't see it, it's really like not living in the real world.

Of course, the real change in the world would be if the men who did this stopped doing this, stopped giving a pass to other men. But realistically, I have to also protect myself.
