I'm a little surprised I haven't seen the "argument": Rich is old so he's wrong. We've seen so much else. The issue isn't anything to do with Rich per se IMHO.

IMO, there has always been a fear of being wrong, leading to "zombie" "theories" that can never die. This seems more true of psychology than other disciplines.

At this rate of "self"-critique and exposure to the public, I would say that perhaps more than some subareas... I just hope, not much, tbh, that people would re-think the strategy

INB4: Olivia is advocating for the destruction of subareas of psychology. No. I just am saying that if these subareas wanna go that way and I think the way is wrong, there is only so much I can do without turning into a fascist.

Basides, like I said in this tree of a thread... there are modellers doing good work in all parts of psych.
