I made a big mistake yesterday. The bread wasn't rising fast enough; it was too cold. So I put the oven on very low, intending to turn it off, then put the bread in I forgot to turn it off. So it killed the yeast when the bread was half-risen We're going to have heavy bread

It's not nearly as bad as I feared. I don't need to make more. I'd thought it might be like the bricks I made on my first attempt at leavened bread.
