Tonight’s idling thought: I know that blue LEDs affect your sleep, and I know there are lots of flashing blue lights from emergency vehicles on the streets of Stevenage every night. I wonder if their light has a similar effect? (And is perhaps also the source of my headaches?)

I've wondered from time to time if the flashing strobes emergency vehicles use are at a frequency that can trigger seizures in people who are sensitive to strobes...

I think it's the wrong frequency. Emergency lights are much lower frequency. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency_vehicle_lighting#Potential_hazards …

However, blue light does cause migraine. So it's possible to get a headache.
