1/2 While I am all for blind reviews, I'd like to point out that we should be aware that not all studies can be anonymized. E.g. if you study a small language with a method affiliated to a certain group/person it's pretty obvious at least who the PI is.

2/2 We need to be careful that this will not further strengthen the anglo-american dominance especially in language research. Under-represented topics/languages and researchers might need additional positive discrimination measures!

The amazing results when other fields shifter to blind reviews seem to be wroth it. But yes, absolutely the nuance here is very much needed (as is true for any changes to the system with intention of improvement).
