Why does (psych) open science keep supporting Jesse Singal despite his constant attack on the trans community? There are other great writers like Ed Yong and Stephanie Lee. I've debated asking this. I'm still unsure if I should have but maybe this speaks more about our community. https://twitter.com/djnavarro/status/1085001656444407808 …

I've never been afraid to speak up about issues in social psych but I was scared to talk about this to the open science community. It is a community I love (and one I think appreciates me back). So can you imagine how trans researchers feel about speaking up & getting backlash?

I’m with y’all here (both in the frustration, and in the fear of speaking up).

Strongly agree!! I've been trying to model you and others on here to lift one another up. Still a lot more to do and speak up when others are being targeted. I can't wait around for tenure to do this.pic.twitter.com/UaEPwbrKu3
