It always, IMHO, boils down to this. Because sadly, given it's been attempted to be explained to them, and they still persist it's not a problem... you just can't maintain the belief that they just are not getting it. They very much do get it, they just don't give a shit.

Grin... In my opinion there is no such thing. I do not communicate to get other to agree or to get some kind of truth out there. I am just generally curious and try to resonate my own thoughts. Always willing to adjust for tune.

Me too. But I won't during that process undermine my values. For example, in my blog on coding and sexism, I didn't write to get others to agree. I even made that clear at the time. I did it to explore my thoughts.
