A man told me only seven years ago that women shouldn't be allowed to be pilots, because what if it wasn't known she'd been raped, and she "has a flashback and crashes the plane".

Carrying around trauma is what we do -- while being highly intelligent, functioning, creative, caring powerhouses. This person was unintelligent and insulting; I ultimately kicked him out of my home.
