Dear non-early-career researchers, HOW do you ever get any work done after teaching? Seriously, how do you do it?! Also, what's the correct term for the post-teaching valley of death(ly lethargy)?
This is one of the reasons why teaching at Birkbeck (was a GTA during my PhD) was so good. Teaching 6-9pm means you don't have to do anything after.

8-10 is surprisingly doable, and leaves me reasonably fresh. If I didn't have kids to hand in to school, I'd prefer this time.

You mean pm?

I am Danish now and find it hard to be at work past 4pm.
