So much resonates here. There is such a lack of momentum to teach students skills that will make them successful in the job market (both in academia and out). Education isn't always easy: "I feel like “against my will” is true for a lot of things I eventually ended up liking"

I'm feeling pretty grateful for my undergrad courses at
@cardiffPHYSX who made us learn huge amounts of programming, and even scientific proposal writing. I HATED the latter at the time (it was a residential course and v overwhelming for an introvert) but super grateful now!1 reply 1 retweet 3 likes
