Poor assumption. But I was not objecting to the article. I was reacting to the question. Never fails to irritate when someone says ‘girls can’t...’. Possibly to do with my single-parent upbringing, but I’ve also run an IT section, and ‘girls’ can certainly code if they want to

However, if you do want to learn to code, stats for experimental psychology is not where I’d start; the teaching objective is different. If I want to teach stats (and I do), the mechanics are a distraction.
