I don't actually think disliking (hating) a 1-size fits all science is that egregious. Besides what's that wrong with you being blocked, if you are? Also didn't she try to reconcile with finally anyway? See:https://twitter.com/cruwelli/status/1060450242716405761 …

I said we had shared friends. You talked to people who also talked to me. That should hardly be surprising? No need to jump to 'an informant'.
-
Yeah, I know. But I am describing to you how what you say is being perceived. I thought that was the point that you claim that you are perceived as scary? I personally am not scared of you, but I totally get where they are coming from.

Are there specifics about Daniels scaryness? It might help to narrow focus. Obviously keeping confidences important here

Ask the man himself. I think given he speaks to these people more than I do prossibly, he might know even more than me!https://twitter.com/lakens/status/1060572438063329280 …

I was trying to be constructive there. But fair enough

In my experience it is 1) having a wide reach and criticizing research I think should by now be better, and 2) misunderstanding that are easily cleared up by actually talking with each other in real life instead of at each other on Twitter.

Whenever I talk to people about this, and I have done so a lot, fears have always been gone after a skype meeting. It always really amazes me how horribly bad twitter is to communicate and how quickly interpersonal views change in a short conversation!

May I ask why you think women who are active in open science though (this is who we are talking about given you mention the mutual people we know) are scared of you? Do you model them as being scared you will criticise their open work even though they are open?
