Blocking people is such a brute force way of suppressing the “wrong” kind of discussion. If it’s genuinely for comfort reasons, muting works great and doesn’t keep information from others!

But sure now it’s you who’s aggressive by screenshotting & commenting. She’s the one who’s cut you off, she can’t ban you from engaging in the discussion without her, can she?!

It's confusing. If you quote tweet someone they get upset for you siccing your followers on them, but if you screenshot them they also get mad that you're talking about them behind their back.

Don't these people realize that they are being talked about behind their backs anyways, whether or not there is a tweet to notify them? People are probably privately talking about our discussion right now, which is fine, tweets are public.

Of course. There are always secret cabals and stuff, that's life. Everybody is idling away in some chat room whether meatspace or interwebs. But I am not sure what "shit would have gone down massively" means? It seems like shit has gone down?
