I started the hashtag #bropenscience because I do #openscience and I need a way to call the people out who act in ways I think are unacceptable. If you think that's the same as me being against open science that's completely unfounded, but I see why it's useful rhetoric.

Oh, and, it's totally fine to hate puns. TBH they can be exclusionary (e.g., to non-native speakers) in many situations, so I get it.

There’s quite a few problems in the world that we wouldn’t have if we valued history. Time to read Umberto Eco’s essay on fascism for the 80th time this year. (This has nothing to do with open science, I just like that essay, and it’s scarily prescriptive.)
