Every time I (and others) say there's s certain bro elements within certain #openscience circles (which I like to collectively call #bropenscience because they don't care about the inclusivity/diversity aspect of it) somebody will insunuate I am/we are against open science.

In this particular case (2 cases actually, now I think about it) it was mostly painful to see other people’s voices were being ignored and/or delegimitized, while Richard’s seem to have instant impact**. But yes in general indeed mine too. (** For which I was grateful ofc!)

It is very painful. It was for me as well when
@statsepi unfollowed me because I was speaking up about tone, even though we’d had quite a few positive exchanges before. I’m the one who’s blocked him now but it’s because he wasn’t willing to listen to me and other women. -
So I guess he’s now positively responding to
@richarddmorey’s comments here. It’s frustrating but also thanks Richard!
