Every time I (and others) say there's s certain bro elements within certain #openscience circles (which I like to collectively call #bropenscience because they don't care about the inclusivity/diversity aspect of it) somebody will insunuate I am/we are against open science.

OK, but have you seen the dogpiles and sealioning I've had to endure because I mention that I think open science should strive for inclusivity?

And not just me... so many other women that I will not tag for obvious reasons. I can genuinely dig up (some of) the times this has happened to me if you want to see. Back in 2017 it was so bad my Twitter was unusable. I considered leaving the site.
