Maybe, but again, blanket statements don’t really help with this. I’m just quite worried that people will start using this as an excuse to dismiss valid criticism – criticism of the science != criticism of the scientist. (1/2)

TBH that's not what I think is the crux of the broism. I think it's a general toxic masculinity. Essentially I don't think it's a certain thing as easy as "men are targeting women". It's more nuanced.
