My mom is a market champion, there isn't a market that woman does not know the exact layout of and where exactly to get xyz, and how to cut down the price of a shop owners goods till they are nearly in tears. That woman is scary.

When we were younger, my siblings and I would immediately dissolve into tears once the driver informed us that we were diverting from being picked up at school to "quickly pick" my mom up at the market. We know that means 2-3 hours of waiting in Tejuosho parking

Even worse was when you were unsuspecting, going somewhere with her and she suddenly needs to "buy just one thing" at the market, and you were stuck following her around the market while she bought many "one" things.

But what stands out most in memory, was how normal it was, as a young child, to be dragged, catcalled & solicited by men in the market. Walking through narrow pathways with stalls was particularly uncomfortable because these men would reach out, grab and touch you.."my wife!"

Then they get angry when you dodge their touch or say they shouldn't touch.Yesterday one in the market asked if I was a Virgin cause I dodged his touch and when he stretched further I said he shouldnt touch me.
