Close to tears but thankfully of joy. Had to reinstall everything from the bare metal (literally gcc and g++) to CUDA to get tensorflow-gpu working with my TITAN X and python3 — you "just" need to know the exact versions of everything. Previously had it working but only for 2.7.

Yeesh. Tensorflow is famously among the worst packages ever to install. Every time there’s a major release I update our installs and it always takes a week and a lot of tears.
