Creepy in and of itself. Genuinely I'm not that upset about the act itself. The Church has so so so much more awful stuff to answer for.

It's awful, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't harm the baby. The teachings of the Church and its effect on society, especially in Cyprus, do demonstrably harm the baby.

I've been baptised in a cute church in Old Nicosia. Somehow managed to get the name Olivia too, even though it's not Church aproved.

Yes, it took the victim's eventual suicide many years later for the decision to be revised to firing the priest.
