Now that's not necessary, is it? In Ayia Napa, allegedly.

So yeah, definitely not just the Churches that have a problem with babies. It's our whole culture.

-
Baby-dunking priest videos are a kind of Twitter subgenre though:https://twitter.com/coco_ortiz12/status/848002608774037504?s=19 …

Creepy in and of itself. Genuinely I'm not that upset about the act itself. The Church has so so so much more awful stuff to answer for.

-
It's awful, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't harm the baby. The teachings of the Church and its effect on society, especially in Cyprus, do demonstrably harm the baby.
-
I've been baptised in a cute church in Old Nicosia. Somehow managed to get the name Olivia too, even though it's not Church aproved.

-
Priests who violently dunk babies should be fired though. But I'm assuming it's not a job?

-
Oh, yeah, good point. The only good priest is Παγκράτιος.

The video just gave me a weird vibe.
Not defending priest or church in any way, lets make that clear.
I want baptisms banned anyway. Lol. Let them decide on their religion when they're old enough to make their own choices.
