Doing all this professional networking and meeting new people is great, but my Twitter feed is getting further and further away from the time when I could tweet about deeply personal stuff and not worry about it spreading, and sometimes I miss that.

Working three days of this conference is taking the strain (don’t worry, I think I got away with it), and forcing me to think a bunch about my mental health. I used to be able to use Twitter for rubber duck debugging this stuff, and that doesn’t really work any more.

This is compounded by the hashtag-millennial problem of “everybody I know uses a different service” and “some people aren’t online at all”. I wonder if what I want is a private blog whose posts aren’t searchable or indexed, but that loses the spontaneity of Twitter.
