I find it disturbing that people think their behaviour on Twitter is without flaw or repercussion. I have considered a few times, especially in 2017, to leave Twitter because of the behaviour of certain people in my field or science generally. 
To be honest, I'm not sure people hate me. But you're right, it's just possible!

Almost no one hates Dylan either in the end. Mostly because he's lovely but also because most people aren't the miserable creatures they present themselves as online.

Yeah, what I'm saying is I don't think anybody does. That's not what I use in my thinking.

I think I'm being unclear (as usual). Better way of saying it I guess is that people don't think of a "real person" on the other end of internet interactions. Which is really the topic of the podcast - title is more for effect.

Yeah generally. People are always terrifying. It's just that online people seems to think there is less consequences to their actions.
