I can’t tell if people who wreck and break threads do it on purpose or not. They certainly know in one way or another how to make them unreadable. Has anybody got ideas on how to stop it? Would explaining it to them help? Or just accept as a byproduct of how bad Twitter is?
Replying to tweets in such a way that results in hiding tweets further down to new readers.

:( I really thought Twitter had fixed that at the same time they introduced the option to write a whole thread in one go, but I guess I was wrong. (I’m using a third-party phone client where threads are often borked anyway, so it’s hard to tell.)

If you’re tweeting from the web, that might be a good option?
-
What might be?

Oh to switch to web? No, it's the same.

Sorry, that wasn’t clear at all! I mean, posting a thread all at once with the “add another tweet” button, which is available on the web interface. Please excuse the daft screenshot.
I haven’t used this much so not sure how well it works.pic.twitter.com/KoFmaGK2Jn

Yes, but I mean one with give and take with others.
-
Oh… then that’s no help. :(

Here's a good example of an attempt.
