Y’all, help me sort through this real quick, because from where I’m sitting it seems like Cara Santa Maria will appear together with Shermer, Sam Harris, a columnist at Quillette, & a dude who wrote a book about Europe’s “suicide” via Muslim immigration. Is that accurate?https://twitter.com/michaelshermer/status/1030191196319047681 …

Quite a few, more than I would have thought, Quillette fans seem to be women online and sadly even within science.

I know - I'm just sad about it (how can you not know that these "atheist skeptics" are a bunch of misogynist racist assholes?) I don't get the worshipping of the male "hero"

OK, this is just my opinion of these people but I think they can spot it (maybe not label it as we do, but spot it nonetheless!) and they like it, seek it out.

I think they, these women, work with misogynists. They genuinely like who they work with and their environment. It's not a matter of them being naive, at least not in the way they are 100% tricked or lost.
