I've now taken up the passive-aggressive approach of OSX users and will just say "dunno, it works fine on my machine" instead of actively advocating for it. ;)

I also use UTC for all of my computer time zones. N.B.: I actually do use UTC for all of my time zones.

It was certainly a lot more eccentric back when I was living in PST/PDT in Seattle… I think it did weird people out that I so quickly knew what time it was back home when we went to London for a team business trip…

My phone shows both "Home" and current location when I travel. No idea why it has that as a default but it is relatively useful.
