Why is Alexa intelligence?

Alexa’s intelligence is based on her search parameters and methods set by algorithms constructed by she’s, him’s & they’s.

How is that different to any other bog-standard NN?

I don’t know what that is.

NN have trillions of data points, for example frontal lobe working in conjunction with hippocampus to process stimuli and turn it into language. Up and down. AI does not have the trillions of connections, they are passing same code down chain to modify less intake up to inform.

I agree, but I don't understand why you think Alexa (which is a NN) is closer to "intelligence" than other NNs?

Humans imparting intelligence onto the AI machines glorifies humans intelligence that created the artifact. I don’t agree with that POV that this is inherently intelligence or anything but an attempt to create a NN. Phenomenological question on the state of intelligence itself.

OK, I accept you think that. I am just wondering why you said Alexa was more intelligent somehow? Or maybe I misunderstood?

Initially I was making the comparison that Alexa has more access points than the Waldo finding machine but essence both are programmed by humans.
