I'm kinda sad now cuz the first two things I saw on twitter as I rolled out of bed were your tweet on Jay Peeples and another saying that the BBC had invited them on as 'balance' with a climate change denier. Fortunately the student office has lollypops for emotional emergencies

Absolutely. The idea that the best way to stop proto-fascists is to give them a platform "so everyone can debate their ideas" has been proven wrong so many times now. No matter who "wins" the debate, having it still increases their popularity.
