thanks! Seems a bit of a 'black hole' in terms of research.

I'm not sure that's true? You probably need to tag some mode Ed Psych people?

OK, I think that's all the names that spring to mind. Sorry if I've missed anybody or tagged anybody who doesn't want to be tagged. Let me know and I'll untag you.

Just to be clear, and provided I've understood, your query is about a different field to Experimental Psychology.

I'm generally interested in how people learn to code and issues around coding such as human error => code failure. I wonder if I can devote myself to this. Would fall under experimental psychology (as I've little experience outside

Sorry, I didn't mean it's not possible to be addressed by Experimental Psychology, but it's classically in Educational Psychology (provided I've understood what you mean and what Ed Psych is
). I think the tagged people will be able to shed light on this.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
It boils down to doing a well-rounded literature review essentially, which hopefully Twitter can help with. The last thing you need is to be unaware of vast swathes of highly relevant work in an adjacent field.

totally! Really freaks me that. Esp when giving talks and someone points out 'but what about this ENTIRE FIELD' ;)
